What is an approved business?
An Approved Business is a company which has passed a stringent background check using state, national and federal public databases. In addition, we check the national sex offender registry, verify Social Security Numbers and Tax ID numbers as well as length and stability in the area. In other words... the only kind of company you want to do business with.
What is a "Double Check" Approved Business?
The Double Check approved businesses have not only met the above requirements, but also have employees who have been pre-screened to meet our stringent criminal background check requirements. Each employee completing this check is provided a picture ID badge for easy confirmation. It is your right to request a Double Check employee.
How do I become an approved business?
We are always searching for reputable businesses to add to our membership. Your good reputation is the first step. The next step is to fill out the application that allows Better Consumer Choices to begin the prescreening process. All information is secure and private. Consumers want to see you as a Member!
